What Makes Albena Different
Albena was purpose-built in the 1960s as a planned resort and is still largely state-managed, which means stricter environmental controls and better maintenance than commercial resorts. The beach is 4 km long and consistently rated one of the cleanest in Bulgaria (Blue Flag certified).
